Owen Mercer

Chef and owner

Grew up crabbing on the Eastern Shore, cooked in New Orleans and Chicago, then came home to cook Chesapeake food the way he likes to eat it.

A sommelier decanting red wine into a glass in front of the wine wall

Clara Vine

Sommelier and partner

Built the wine wall bottle by bottle, with a soft spot for Virginia reds. Ask her for a pour of something open; it's usually a good story.

Good to know before you book

Can I ask for a specific table by phone?

Yes. Every table has a code on the plan, like W3 or B2. Tell us the code and we hold that exact table.

What if the table I want is taken?

Tap it anyway. The plan shows the nearest times it opens that night, and you can switch with one tap.

Do you take deposits?

Not for the dining room or the counter. The Vine Room takes a deposit once your date is confirmed with our events team.

How do I change or cancel?

Reply to your confirmation text up to 24 hours before. Inside 24 hours, give us a call; we understand plans change.

Can you handle allergies and dietary needs?

Tell us about allergies; our kitchen handles common allergens. Add it to your booking notes and your server will already know when you sit down.

Are children welcome?

Yes, until 8 PM. We have high chairs; mention one in your notes and it will be at the table.

Your table is waiting on 14th Street.

Held for you for 10:00
