What an Oklahoma storm does to a roof

    Spring, every year

Spring in Oklahoma City comes with a soundtrack.

Most of the roofs we replace weren’t old. They were just in the wrong place when a storm cell crossed the metro.

    Hail

Hail bruises what it doesn’t break.

A one inch stone can crack the mat under a shingle and knock its granules loose. It looks fine from the yard, then leaks a year later.

    Wind

Wind lifts what it can reach.

Strong gusts can break the seal strip that glues each shingle down. The tab lies flat again, but it isn’t stuck anymore, and the next storm takes it.

    The day after

Then the trucks with out-of-state plates show up.

Storm chasers follow the radar. We’ve been on Classen Boulevard since 2009, and we’ll still be here when you need the warranty.

    Clearing

The sky clears. Now get the facts from the air.

See what hit your ZIP, then let our drone photograph every slope. It’s free, and nobody climbs on a damaged roof.

    Check my ZIP

What hit your street this year?

Type your ZIP and we’ll pull a storm history for it, with the hail size you should be checking for.

    Try

Simulation. A real site would read NOAA storm reports; this demo builds a believable history from your ZIP. Nothing is sent.

    Storm restoration and insurance claims

We photograph the damage, meet your adjuster on the roof and build to the approved scope. On an approved claim you pay your deductible, plus any upgrade you choose.

    Full replacement in a day

Tear-off, synthetic underlayment, new drip edge and ridge vent. Most homes are done before dinner and magnet-swept for nails.

    Class 4 impact-resistant roofs

Shingles and metal rated UL 2218 Class 4. Many insurers discount premiums for them, so ask yours.

    Standing seam metal

Concealed fasteners and 24 gauge panels, in colors from Galvalume to copper penny.

    Repairs and leaks

A leak around a vent boot or chimney is usually a repair, not a new roof. We’ll tell you which, with photos.

    Gutters and ventilation

Seamless 6 inch gutters and balanced attic airflow, so the new roof lasts as long as it should.

We inspect from 120 feet up, not by walking on your shingles.

Our FAA Part 107 pilots fly a set pattern over your roof in about 40 minutes. You get labeled photos of every slope the same day.

The pilot stays on the ground. The camera gets close enough to count hail hits in a test square, which is what adjusters ask for.

    • One crew lead, start to finish

The person who tears off your roof is the one who walks the job with you at the end.

    • No money down on insurance jobs

Nothing is due until your claim is approved and the materials are on your driveway.

    • 10-year workmanship warranty

In writing, on top of the manufacturer’s warranty, from a company with a local office.

    • Two magnet sweeps

Yard, beds and driveway, once at tear-off and again before we leave.

Sample quotes, written for this demo

“They flew the drone before I got home from work, and the report had a photo of every hit.”
    Dana, homeowner in Edmond
“The adjuster wasn’t sure. Marcus met him on the roof with the photos and it got approved.”
    Luis, homeowner in Moore
“Same crew lead all day. The yard was cleaner when they left than when they showed up.”
    Renee, homeowner in Yukon

What a new roof costs in Oklahoma City

Tell us about your house. We’ll estimate the roof in squares and price it four ways.

    2,100 sq ft
    Stories
    Roof pitch
    Roof shape
    How we estimate

Roof footprint = home size ÷ stories, plus 420 sq ft for an attached two-car garage, plus 12% for overhangs. We multiply by the pitch factor and a waste factor for the roof shape, then divide by 100 to get squares. Prices are this demo’s sample installed prices with tear-off of one layer.

    27 squares

    Estimated roof size

On an approved storm claim, your cost is usually your deductible plus any upgrade you choose, like Class 4 or metal.

Questions we hear after every storm

Do I need to be home for the inspection?

No. The flight takes about 40 minutes from your driveway or the street. We text when we arrive and when the report is ready.

      Is the inspection really free?

Yes. No charge, no obligation and nothing to sign before you see the photos.

How do I know if I should file a claim?

Look at the report first. If it shows storm damage, we’ll explain what a typical policy covers and help you file. If it doesn’t, we’ll tell you not to.

Will a claim raise my insurance rates?

It depends on your insurer and your policy, and we won’t guess for you. Many carriers treat weather claims differently from other claims, so ask your agent before you file.

What’s a Class 4 roof, and is it worth it here?

Class 4 is the top rating in the UL 2218 impact test. It costs more up front, and many insurers discount premiums for it. We price both, so you can compare the numbers.

How long does a replacement take?

Most shingle roofs take one day. Standing seam metal takes three to four days, and tile four to six.

      Do you offer financing?

Yes. Monthly options are shown on your quote, next to the cash price, before you sign anything.
