Independent lab with four patient centers across San Antonio

Look up fasting, cash price and turnaround for any common test. Then walk in, book, or get drawn at home.

In the analyzer

A courier brings samples to our lab on Medical Drive, where they're spun down and loaded onto the analyzers. Routine tests stay in San Antonio.

Specialty tests go to a partner lab. We'll tell you which.

A licensed lab scientist checks every run, including its control samples, before a single result is released.

Controls are run alongside patient samples.

Ready

You get a text that results are ready, never what they say. They go to your portal and to the clinician who ordered them.

Your clinician explains what results mean.

  • Texts that never include result details. Just "ready", with a link to sign in.
  • Results go to you and your clinician at the same time.

    Good questions.

Still unsure? Call (210) 555-0186. A person answers from 6:30 am on weekdays.

We're a lab, not an emergency room. If this is an emergency, call 911.

    Do I need to fast?

Only for some tests, like a lipid panel or a fasting glucose. The test finder shows the usual prep for each test, and your clinician's instructions come first. Plain water is fine and usually makes the draw easier.

    Do I need a doctor's order?

Many tests need an order from a clinician. Bring it on paper or on your phone, or ask the office to send it to us. For self-pay tests without an order, we'll tell you what's possible when you book.

How do I get my results?

We text you when they're ready. They appear in your patient portal and go to the clinician who ordered the test. Your clinician explains what they mean; our team can't interpret results.

    What should I bring?

A photo ID, your lab order if you have one, and your insurance card if you're using insurance. A short-sleeve shirt helps.

    How long will I wait?

Each center shows a walk-in estimate on this page. Early mornings are busiest because of fasting draws. A booked time skips the line.

    Do you draw kids?

Yes, from age 1 with a parent or guardian. Ask for a pediatric-trained phlebotomist when you book.

What if I feel faint during a draw?

Tell your phlebotomist before you start. Every center has a reclining chair, and you can lie back for the draw and stay as long as you need afterward.

Can someone come to my home?

Yes. At-home draws cover San Antonio inside Loop 1604 plus Boerne, Helotes, Schertz and Converse, Monday to Saturday.
